(1) This is their best season this millennium, and he’s complaining about a WR not getting the ball enough. Maybe they can go back to the days when Bland/Narrows was the “1-9 Bowl”. Maybe this young man or his father can let the coaches coach.

And no I'm not related to anyone on the narrows team I'm going on what I saw from the games ive watched. The holston game was what i was referring to. If there was 2 more minutes left in that game narrows would have a big L.
Never said I was unhappy, but they only score 3 TDS a game, they should and can score alot more if they use the right playes and they are not if 1 of your top 2 offence threats only gets the ball 3 times a game.
No sorry I'm neither just saw a couple videos on facebook. Looking back at the scores Narrows dont put alot of points up,just wondering why with a receiver like that looks like they would score more.
Who is this # 24, I would throw that kid the ball a little more. The Narrows offense needs to do a better job of getting the ball to players who can make plays.

Should be a good game....Giles has played a tough schedule so far, to put it nicely narrows hasn't.
Hopefully Giles is battle tested enough that it can pull them through in this one.
Should be a huge crowd since everyone on narrows side will be there cause most narrows people I've talked with have already said they ARE winning this year...guess we'll see around 9:30 Friday night

Ok we played a weak team in Northwood but Chilhowie weak I think not, Auburn a team christiansburg could not do anything with in a scrimmage weak, again I think not.
Can someone give an impression of the teams here. Looks like Narrows D shut down the run of chilhowie. Was it speed or size that stopped the run game?
Narrows defense swarms to the ball there line is strong and fast the linebackers read very well and are fast,the corners stay home and defend the pass great the safety has a nose for the ball. Most of Chilhowie's pass yards came in the 4th when Narrows went to a prevent defense, before that the QB had either no time to pass or no one was open. Chilhowie is a very good team and the kids had very good sportsmanship. I was impressed with them.
And let me say that the Chilhowie band was great. One of the best that I have heard in a long time. Someone please let them know. And.... I was shocked at the speed and aggression of the the DEs for the Wave. But like a previous post, Wave looked tired and Warriors must have saw that after good pep talk at half. Wave did take 3 quarters and Warriors took 1. Hoped to see Wave and Spartans next week but doubt I can make it now. Should be a good one
I have never heard a band that good at a high school game, I wish I could watch and listen to them every Friday. Was a great game also
I would like to be there Friday. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere at Narrows. The region championship game we played there two years ago, the atmosphere was outstanding. The atmosphere at our place last year during the region championship just wasn't the same.
I think narrows has the best view of any small school around.
But do find it funny that now narz has started winning games(against nobodies for the curious) the coaching staff now understands the players they have and aren't clueless like so many wave fans said in year's past....not meaning you swva not but narz fans in
The D is good and solid but the competition is about to go up several notches over the next couple weeks. Also, the Offense needs to get a lot of things sorted. The flow from the last couple years isn't there yet.
