  1. and btw... bluefield and richlands scrimmaged and bluefield won.
  2. dawg05.... seeing the number of times you have posted and your comments reveals how ignorant you are... bluefield never dropped tazewell or richlands, they dropped bluefield. bluefield has been begging them to play.
  3. the same ole "va is better than wv argument" that has been passed on from generation to generation b/c west virginia seceded from virginia and then kicked their arsses in the 1860s... virginia will always have the need to justify it...
  4. thats ok d-head... we ll see who s cryin in the end
  5. NFHS RULE: "In order to legally spike the ball to stop the clock, the ball must must be thrown immediately to the ground after a direct hand to hand snap. The team will be penalized 5yds from the spot of the illegal spike, loss of down and the clock would start on the ready for play. " .....just a statement of the FACT...
  6. i wish the complaining would do the state of wv some good... that is about traveling to wheeling. seems the body of the state of wv is against the northern panhandle on this. the mud is not an issue there anymore since the '03 mudbowl... turf now. but the travel time is definitely the BIG issue. it needs to be somewhere in the state so that noone drives more than say three hours or so... i.e. morgantown, charleston, parkersburg, huntington... plus the issues of big revenue for the states of ohio and pa and the "marriage" of the wheeling super six committee and the wvssac. the only way to get the super six out of wheeling is if another city's committee can pad the wvssac's pockets more. and contrary to what all the ppl in the northern panhandle think.... the super six in wheeling is not about the kids... its about money

  9. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] a spade is a spade. there are situations that people can point to that are reasons, valid reasons, to be upset about things. Everyone makes mistakes, but intentional things are not something to ignore. I can't speak for you, but I've always been 1 to speak up for rights. If you would permit people to trample yours or someone else's rights without being irrate over it that's on you. That said of course it's only sports, so it's only in a sports minded way any of this really concerns me. I turn it on and off with this site. "And if ya'll have to come back to the cow pasture in Lindside, make sure you bring a leash for Simon." To think I had you and most mavs fans figured for at least high schoolers. [/ QUOTE ] I've changed my mind...I have one more thing to say about this and then I'll be done. Bluefield posters have gotten on this board and posted as though James Monroe has committed some gosh-awful football felony or something that won the game for them. At the very least, what happened? JM may have or may not have gotten by with intentional grounding. We still beat you by 13 pts, and was very close to making that a 20 pt loss. What is a "violation of the rules" in football? It's called a "penalty" which means Bluefield commits violations of the rules. You can't tell me that everytime the "classy" Bluefield coaches or fans see something that one of the Bluefield players did on the field that was a "violation of the rules", but it looks as though they are going to get by with it, they stop the game and run out on the field and say no, don't let them get by with that, call a penalty on us, we're guilty, we're guilty. BULL CRAP! This still doesn't mean I'm saying that the play James Monroe ran should've drawn a penalty, because like I said previously and I'm sticking to it, I'll need to see the rule in writing and the video of the play before I can say it was or wasn't. Some Bluefield posters have said this shows the character of the JM team, coaches, and fans. All I can say is this incident also shows the character of Bluefield. You sound like a bunch of 5 year olds that want to play a game, but want to win, and when you get beat, you immediately jump up and run to mommy crying you were cheated. If you think this is a valid reason to be mad, harbor ill feelings, and characterize the whole JM program and fan following, then go right ahead. That's what classy fans would do. NOW I'm done. Finished. Over. Time to move on to the next game. You may belittle Greenbrier East because they haven't won many games, but us "classless" fans don't. [/ QUOTE ] DUDE... IF URE REFERRING TO ME IN YOUR COMMENTS, MY ISSUES ARE WITH THE FANS AND OFFICIALS, NOTHING AGAINST THE TEAM OR COACHES... I WISH JM SUCCESS ON THEIR ACCOUNT, BUT NOT FOR THE FANS. IM DONE WITH THIS NO ONE WINS THIS DEBATE, PPL ONLY GET MORE PI$$ED OFF. ITS HUMAN NATURE TO HAVE ONE SIDED, BIASED OPINIONS AS ALL THE JM AND BLFD PPL DO (SELF INCLUDED). SO FOCUS ON SCOTT NEXT SAT
  10. yeah and if bluefield gets another shot (and all of blfd has their fingers crossed for it) round up the crow feast again this yr
  11. mv would not get jm on a neutral field, but the officials would be assigned by the wvssac

everthing depends on this week and everything will change some
  13. blfd beats scott, they will move up to 8th or 9th blfd loses to scott, they will be 14th-17th...
  14. game over... this bickering is worthless since everyone saw two different games. congrats to the jm TEAM... leave it at that
  15. with all due respect tho to the jm team, good hard fought win out there tonite... both teams played hard and made some great plays and big mistakes... jm just made the plays when they needed em, congrats on a big win
  16. i thought the interaction with jm folks was admirable last week on this board. now this issue is only pointing out the rules of the game. the official ADMITTED after the game he blew that call. and the "no class" jm fans harrassed the coaches and video crew the whole game on the "not up to standards" visitors area on top of the box in the pouring rain... maybe blfd should not let jm in the box at blfd next yr and put em in the little box on the visitors side in the pouring rain. i was beginning to have some respect for jm last week in good sportsmanship interaction but after tonites classless actions of the fans who obviously have no clue about the rules on several calls and constant harrassment of beaver staff and getting rooked by peterstowns finest officials... yeah i hope we end up getting a shot at jm in the playoffs so that they cant PICK theyre officials... the officials had an impact in this game... funny how every team that plays there says the same things... hmmm oh yeah and the "hanging" of the beaver doll over the field goal post... loads of class there. as far as the playing of the game... the team making the fewest mistakes won. now all that matters is scott...

  18. spoke to tom today in tn and it was thundering and radar shows it moving this way
  19. i think the reason to cancel games is the threat of lightning... its not worth the risk to players, coaches, or fans... if there is lightning tonite, i think games will be delayed
  20. my concern is with the potential for thunderstorms... how much would it suck to drive all the way there then have to wait thru a delay or the game cancelled till tomorrow... dont think thatll happen but if we hear thunder tonite there will be a delay and then the game is over at midnite or later
