The Fayette County board of education has brought up the plans of consolidation again....they said nothing will begin during this school year but could possibly begin the move for next year, I bet Mount Hope is one of the schools they plan to shut down and the kids go to Oak Hill...Fayetteville could be one of them but I will say they will stay as is being the county seat....Meadow Bridge is another that consolidates with Midland Trail...Gauley Bridge to Valley, here we go again.
Sherman has moved back up to AA this season....they were A last year, I believe they dropped to A for only one season. Sherman should win big over Indy by 30 or more.
Coach Souk had his best players on the field.....Sherman just out played Mt. Hope in the second half plain and simple, if you got issues with no playing time get in the weight room and prove you can play instead of coming on a message board to rip on coach Souk...you all got a tough schedule you need to be getting prepared to play Gilbert...they always play the Mustangs tough....Eddie might need to toughen up on the players and run them more they just got tired in the second half, I'm sure he will this week...then you can come here and complain about that.
Stang02, you might get some info on the Blue Gold News message board....65mustang (Eddie Souk's brother) posts there alot and could give you the info your looking for go to there high school board, good luck on your search.
Bluefield_Rules, I expect the consolidation to happen in the next 2 to 5 years....but I don't think Fayetteville to be in the consolidation plans being the county seat politics will keep this from happening....there will be a big war over this.
It all depends on what Mt. Hope team shows up...the one that wants to play football or the one that wants to fight....if they play good hard hitting football they should have a good season but when they start that fighting mess they will fall apart.
Spangler said he expects to have a good season at Fayettville....any news on Mount Hope Meadow Bridge Valley (Fayette) Midland Trail and Gauley Bridge in class A, how about AA Oak Hill after Grasty graduating and coach Martin leaving?? Any news on these teams will be appreciated.
