i dont either. my cousin was a basketball ref in west va and i remember him saying something about it.

refing is hard. but they should be held more accountable than they are i think. i know most do not have to do it just do it as a second profession. there should be somekind of rating system done by the coaches. i know west va had somekind of system set up in basketball. wandering how that works out. but then again might have less refs than what we have now

you are a little biased i think. thats ok though. if he were the best back in swva abingdon should have won those close games with vh and tazwell. if hed were the best back he would have made some big plays for abingdon and made things happen. i have watched him play, hes good but no were near the best. i would maybe put him in the top 10

also we might know more about this matchup after this friday night. The only like opponent would be Tennessee High, even though you cannot go by that. But DB beat TH 41-7 and TH beat VH 34-6, so i guess if the blues beat VH by 50 or more it would be a good game.

what kind of comparison is this. Richlands is a d3 school and the indians are a top ranked 5a school. i do not know alot about them as i would say most people dont on this board except the VA High posters. I would hope that the blues could come out victorious, but i cannot say for sure. if i had to guess i would so be a good game

also richlands was driving down the field with a minute left and ran out of bounds at about the 25 or 30 to stop the clock. But the refs continued to run it. Ridiculous. Not blaming Bluefield players, coaches or fans. Just the refs.

to be honest with you I thought (not sure if this is true) that the reason Bluefield and the blues had not played is because of the incident with the refs in the 2002 game. They have not played since then. That is what i have always heard that the blues would not play them because of that. I could be wrong though.

i do not know much ab out parkersburg, but surely the #1 ranked aaa school could give the blues a good game dont u think or am i wrong. maybe some bluefield posters have some insigt on this matchup, thats if you even care. because to tell u the truth i dont

just wandering: i have never posted on this subject because i had no fight in the matter and for the most part really did not have an interest in that much. I always thought there had to be more to this than just cursing of players, because that happens everywhere. but i was wandering, i just heard the report on WCYB that he would not be returning as the football coach but was going to be able to teach in Washington County at Wallace Middle School if he chose to do so. Just wandering if the man was that bad in the class room also why would he be able to teach at a middle school. Also you all said when this was settled you all would spill the beans so lets hear what really happened

who really cares anymore richlands is not in D4 show no one should even care about d4.LOL just joking regarding you post earlier. For real I also believe Martinsville will come out of this region. They have lost to quality oppenents and killed magna vista. Magna Vista could be a suprise also. I would like to see Carrol County come out of this region but they are going to have to play good. Hopefully they will.

yea and they really know how to lay some licks. It also seems like wix is involved on every tackle on special teams.

have know idea but i would probably say that Claybourne, Wix, mcknight, and tatum are the leading tacklers and probably one of them is the sack leader also

i believe rhs will come out with the win. Remember 2 years ago when we went down there and came out with a 38-14 win. Tough game was tied up until the fourth. The blues better be focused (as i believe they will be). We are heavy favorites and should win by 3 or 4 touchdowns. 42-10
