The quarterback during that game was Michael Lane. He quarterbacked that game but broke his finger and had to go out for a while. They put Ronald Betts in, who hadn't played ball since elementary, but had a cannon, and he threw the touchdown bomb to.... who else... Michael Lane, who had gone back in as receiver with a broken finger.

The Bluefield-Graham game was featured on ESPN on scholastic sports america in 1991 my junior year. ESPN came down thanks to buster large and was planning on doing a piece on the two towns and two states and the rivalry, but when they toured mitchell stadium they couldn't believe the facility and decided to stay and cover the whole game. They were glad they did because the game was a classic bluefield graham barnburner, and we beat graham 6-4, with a touchdown pass at the end of the game to win it. I have the segment they did on tape. It was about 5 minutes long. It was an awesome segment.

The soccer balls are 6" big and come with little black round display case. What I will need to do is get the picture of the logo from you, for whatever you want on the ball. I will keep you posted on the status of the richlands helmet and let you know when it is up and available.

The Richlands helmet decal is being made as we speak. As soon as I get it ready, It will be put on the website. It will be an exact replica because I am using the actual decal off the helmet. I can take advance orders now so I can get an idea of how many to order.

Yeah, you're right, it looked too red to me too until I got it in. It is called cardinal metallic and it is the identical color bluefield uses. It looks great. But it does look red in the pic.

Yes, I can put numbers on the back of the helmet if you wish, depending on the number. The difficulty with the Bluefield Helmet is that there is so much on it as far as decals go that its hard to stick a number on it, but it can be done. Well, some schools have a logo on the bill of the helmet. So if they do, we can get that logo made. Of course, I can get you a silver helmet if you'd like.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know an update on the Mini helmets being made. Bluefield, Graham, Beckley, Liberty Raleigh, James Monroe, and Wyoming East are out and ready. Those coming out in the next 2 weeks are Tazewell, Shady Spring, Herbert Hoover, and Pikeview. Richlands is being made as we speak as well. There are some pretty cool accessories coming out this June as well. For example, protective visors will be available, and we can make the helmets to have words on the front and back bumpers of the helmet, award stickers, as well as numbers on the back. Hi guys. My name is Charley Dodson. I have taken the opportunity to become the dealer for this area for the high school mini helmets. I have sent several new teams to be made, including princeton, james monroe, oak hill and mt. view. I plan on making every team I can, but i need help from you. If you want your helmet made, I need to get a picture of your helmet. Tazewell, Richlands, as far down as Roanoke, Charleston teams , Parkersburg South, Morgantown, all these will be available.
