How are the districts set up this year? I've heard all kinds of stories. does the bdd still exist? or what

I heard this game had been postponed until tomorrow, this true?

Like, the one in Glade? Because they're not very good.

 

The one in Roanoke is good though.

 

And the one from the Revolutionary War was lights out awesome.

Apparently you've never seen Interstate 81 much less a city. We don't talk like that over here. You see I'm in college, and our professors frown upon the usage of words like yonder or yall. grundy goes from 7 point favorite to close game to 30 point asskicking in two weeks. the bandwagon be rolling. and who has hurley played really grundy played a good team and got beat by 3 scores hurley would have got beat by 5

Im not sure if you realize this or not.. but minus a penalty.. Grundy only beat Twin Valley by a touchdown.. granted Twin Valley is the best they've been in years.. but for a team as stellar as your precious Waves it should have been a clobbering right?

Grundy has had their era of reign in this rivalry. It ends Friday. All past statistics go the side and Hurley takes a win back across Rockhouse.

Correction.. I'm actually kinda pulling for Hurley this week. But I dont think it much matters who I pull for, Hurley is gonna beat the Wave and do it big. Sorry guys, Grundy isn't the best in the county anymore. I honestly dont think Grundy is THAT much better than Twin Valley to be honest. Hurley by at least 30 friday, I'd bet the farm on it.

I can't believe nobody has started this thread yet. And if they have and I missed it then sorry for being redundant. Let the comments roll boys. I'm calling Hurley by at least 30. But I really don't care who wins. The will to win on either side is going to be through the roof so anything can happen. I don't think the Wave can do it though. Hurley has too much goin' for 'em.

That could happen, Hurley, Haysi and Grundy wont be easy but 9-1 is very possible for Honaker

yes it is. and I dont see Haysi or Grundy being that tough for Honaker. I mean Twin Valley hung decently with Grundy lol (Compared to past meetings).. Honaker or Hurley is gonna take the district.. The End.

If Grundy cant beat lebanon.. then they need not even show up when they play Honaker or Hurley.. just sayin.

^^^100% should be a heck of a game. Especially with Grundy's bitterness towards Berglowe's leaving, And I'm sure Berglowe is just as eager to prove he made the right choice. I also think Twin Valley and Hurley will be a good one, I figure on Hurley winnin' but its always an entertaining game just because of the shear hatred between "The Knob" and "The Cliff" I never miss it.

Agreed that this is the best Twin Valley has been in ages, and as much as it pains me to admit it, Hurley is the best team in the county... however I foresee Coach Hubbard's Boys to bring home the BDD again. Grundy didn't really impress me, but I expect they'll pass all over Twin Valley who doesn't exactly have the district's strongest secondary. This is the closest the BDD has been in years and with the addition of Grundy this should make for an interesting year. I personally can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Rebels will get their heads on straight and run the table from here out.

Thats a classic Brian Moore move though, playing in a style opposite to that of his opponent.. No matter what level he's at.. he plays fast against slow teams, slow against fast teams, and physical against non-physical teams.. and it usually works out for him..

and as the twin valley team from 2006 proved, the best team doesn't always win.

yea we know that alllllll tooo wellll... as for the region i really can't say anything about any team other than the BDD.. cuz i haven't seen them play.. but you used a key word "experience" thats what's gonna decide the rebels fate when they get to that level... and yea TS and Appy are way bad for that recruiting junk.. like back in 06 when TS had that kid from czechslowhatever and no announcer in the region could prounounce his name correctly lol.. i wish coach moore would get in on that game and get some foreign kids to bring our program back up to par lol.. but as of now i'll just enjoy the honaker/hurley competition.. should be pretty good..
