its always gonna take MOORE than HART to win the BDD.

josh is a big if not the biggest part of twin valleys game.. but you cant say he's the sole reason they win games when you got 2 other guys scorin double digits.. smith doesnt bring the ball down the court, nor does he play the perimeter.. smith is close to the best inside presence the bdd has ever seen in my opinion... second only to brad nuckles and maybe matthew baldwin.. but he's not the only reason twin valley wins.. good ball handling, crazy inside game, and ALOT of hard work.. thats what wins twin valley basketball games and thats what keeps puttin nets in the pail..

Apparently a bad temper and a loud mouth runs in the Cooper bloodline, seeing as in tonights game between Twin Valley & Hurley, head coach Mark Cooper was tossed, and both his sons, Tyler and Austin were both served a T a piece. I think Lucas showed all the neigh sayers who the BDD's best center is tonight with double digits and a dunk to round out the night, while the panther held Waynick to mediocre game to say the least. Brandon Viers walked away with 13 points tonight. And despite the technical Austin Cooper played a good game droppin about 20 for the Rebels.

yea man.. these dont mean a thing.. i mean sure i woulda liked to see tv beat lebanon and win the tourney.. but it dont really hurt my feelins that they didnt.. but with hubbard hurt and hughes not even showin up i didnt really expect it.. i think tv beats hurley by 5 or 6 tonight and lebanon beats honaker by 10 or so.. wish i could make it..

id think that long sleeve shirt would be uncomfortable while moving around like a basketball player is required to do.. not 2 mention.. it looks pretty stupid to be honest.. but whatever floats ur boat i guess..

okay.. im gonna tell you guys the story i heard.. and im gonna start by saying i dont know if its true or not.. i heard that gary quit basketball to concentrate on football, in which he wanted to pursue a college career in... and while in the weightroom one evening, tommy blankenship (hurley principle) approached gary telling him that he lacked the intelligence to even attempt to get into a good college and that he needed to get himself in the gym and make the best of his athletic career in high school, resulting in gary going back to rural retreat.. a part of me hopes this isnt true but it really wouldnt surprise me.. furthermore.. im not celebrationg us beating battle.. i just like exploiting the fact that we beat battle by 20.. without our starting PG... while honaker lost to battle..

obviously they aren't horrible.. haha they beat honaker..

Honaker vs. Hurley... Twin Valley vs. Lebanon I haven't seen Lebanon play but I'm confident that they dont have anything our panthers cant play with... im gonna go out on a limb and say hurley over honaker.. anyone who loses to battle like honaker did.. isnt gonna beat hurley.. Whats everyone else think?

they dominated.. and did it without hubbard.. who hurt his elbow helping viers unload a deer out the back of his truck.. haha.. he'll be back next game tho.. as far as i know

waynick is a good inside presence... tyler cooper can shoot pretty good but austin doesnt really impress me so much.. but the lil big man gary being gone is gonna kill there speed and there ability to keep up with teams with alot of speed... unless they can do what twin valleys been doin for years and just slowin teams down and not lettin em play that quick paced game... i personally see them finishing 3rd in the district to a 1st place Twin Valley and a 2nd Place Council... from what i hear honaker isnt so hot this year and i havnt heard much about haysi.. so we'll see when it all pans out

no.. holly bowman.. shes a golden wave turned tiger.. shes a junior maybe senior im not sure.. and shes really not all that phenomenal.. the mvp remark was a lil scarcasm..

yea i think you needa give our bdd girls some credit.. especially since they got an swd mvp on there team now.. haha

brandon viers has impressed me drastically... i know that redheaded joker reads these threads.. so buddy im proud of ya... and i heard hubbard asked not to start against graham.. whats up with that? hubbard has the makings of a great point guard..

can anyone get me a twin valley schedule? its kinda hard to keep up with game dates since i graduated and id like to make it to as many games as possible..

that harris kid from tazewell can shoot pretty good from the perimeter... if i recall correctly he knocked down 3 3's in a row against tv..

il agree that twin valley isnt the team they have been since 06.. but im not saying they dont have the ability to play on the same level as those teams did.. but either way.. twin valley and hurley both could be tied for worse team in the state and we'd still be runnin our mouths on here... thats just how it is.. personally as a panther id rather have my tongue shut up in a car door as lose to hurley and im sure they feel the same way about us.. its just a rivalry like VT & UVA or Richlands & Tazwell.. one of my best friends is from hurley but i got a feeling come time for us to walk in the gym for TV/Hurley game were gonna sit on opposite sides of the floor and hate each other haha..

true story izzo.. basketball isnt a sport at twin valley.. its religion.. and idc how hard your coaches work you now.. these guys have been havin varsity level practices since they were in 5th grade.. i remember those days.. robert simpson sittin the trash can in the middle of the floor and tellin us to run til we puked.. man i hated him so bad back then haha now i see what he was doin and its coaches like him, mike wright and now coach moore that makes twin valley basketball what it is 2day...

HAHAHAHAHAHA i hope you can hear me laughin at your stupidity over there on your side of rockhouse.. they should ban you from posting this kinda crap in these forums.. for real man to say twin valley has no chance against anyone in the bdd is completely retarded.. waynick is overated and could never on his best day play with shortridge, all hurleys team combined couldnt stop smith, and from what ive seen the lil big man gary is gonna have one hell of a time keepin up with hubbard (that is if he even stands up during the game insteada layin on the floor all the time) and the way viers has been playin.. that kid isnt even the same lil redheadhed junior we all watched last year.. like i said they dont have a choice but to play there asses off now that hunter and garrett are gone... and yes a dunk is worth two points.. two points and a BIG boost of momentum.. and they dunk shortridge had wasnt nearly as nice as when he spiked that guys layup off the backboard.. bottom line.. TV basketball isnt by any means dead... and there gonna bring home BDD title number 6 in 2009.. id bet the farm on that one..
