  1. The gestures doesn't bother me at all. Football is an emotional game. I think the best players play a little angry. Some show that and some don't. Bray could be a great player. But he has a lot of work to put in before that comes. He has to take care of the football.

As far as the catch. You have to control the ball. He never controlled the ball before he hit out of bounds. The picture shows that. If they ruled it a catch they had to rule him inbounds because if they said he went out the catch wouldn't have counted. So the clock should have started on the set for play not the snap.

The rule book says when a offical calls the game over it is over. Again that isn't me saying that. That is the rule book. The offical clearly got on the mic and said the game was over. So it doesn't matter that looking at the replay would have been the right thing to do. Having a 10 second run off like the NFL would have been the right thing to do on that field goal/spike. But either you go by the rules or you make them up as you go. Which is what happened in this game.

    well said!!!!!!!

  2. I can agree with UVAObserver, it has been a year of of seeing loved ones no longer with us, happiness in seeing family members that have gone through separation in their lives, now picking up the pieces.

"My buddy," TJ Rasnick's family, has been on my heart today, knowing this is their first year without him. I know how much I miss him so I could not begin to fathom their pain. Even though the separation is still hard, knowing #11 numerals now shine in heaven, helps with the loss. Of course, I heard someone say, they aren't lost if you know where they are and I know my buddy is in heaven. He would be rooting for everyone on on this board to meet him there.

I was at the cancer center yesterday with my husband; he was diagnosed with chronic leukemia a little over a year ago. From the tests and doctor's report it appears within the next few months he will have to begin chemo.

It won't be easy, but I know that God is in control. He has given me strength through things in my life that have not been easy. When I gave my life to him many years ago, he never said I wouldn't have trials or sorrow, but I could have comfort, peace and strength in a relationship with him.

As we celebrate the Christmas season of Jesus birth, may your lives have room for him. Without him we are nothing, but with him we can be vessels of honor.

As my granddaughter told me Tuesday, "Mamaw, I like it when you come up--it makes the day go faster and better." Well board, that's the way Jesus makes our days, faster and better.

God bless to all and Merry Christmas.

Found this Christmas video I really enjoy--hope everyone likes it. Best viewed on a full screen.

May God bless you and your family in the coming months!!

  3. Of course he thinks we need to chill, Beaver is guaranteed a win every year from this point on as long as Marrs is coach. GetMoney55, worry about the beavers and let the real fans of Graham stand up for our community before we become Tazewell. Marrs has gotta go.

Leave Tazewell out of Grahams problems please. The bulldogs are working hard to overcome their's.

  4. Richlands is a great football team..........Phoebus would be up by atleast 40 at halftime.

    Totally different level of football.

I saw Thomas Dale play in a playoff game last year and saw them win in the state championship game. They were good no doubt but, Richlands would have given them a good game and would have had a chance to win. Saying they would be behind 40 at halftime against Phoebus I just don't agree with. I'm not saying swva teams would win every year. But, to give them no chance to win ever, must be something in the water you swva boys are drinking. I hope it's something gooood.

Look, football is football some school in swva could & would win a state championship. It's possible if there was 1 state champ this year Richlands would have a good chance. Don't sell swva teams short!! You don't have to get upset and start name calling.
