  1. My wife's last vehicle was an acura, we always took it to Cole Honda which I didn't know until we bought the car that Honda and Acura are the same brand so they are qualified to service them, we never had a bit of trouble, which is why I bought my vehicle there last week. I highly recommend them, Mark Tibbs was service manager at Honda, Last week the service manager I spoke to was AJ Jeffries, he said he used to play football at Graham

  2. Where does everyone get there vehicle service, what are the best deals in town? I recently bought a vehicle from Bill Cole Automall and they seemed great! I get a 10/100000 mile warranty through the Bill Cole Advantage plus 3 free oil changes and 1 free tire rotation for the 1st year of my services, I also got introduced to there service manager and he explained some things to me, overall a great experience, but i wanted to know where the great deals in the Bluefield/Princeton area are? Don't say Walmart or some random Quick Lube because i don't trust those people for some reason

  3. What I got from watching the game is this... #1 Virginia Tech's Defense is Outstanding, for them to have been on the field as much as they were they did a great job. Think about it this way, if VT didn't give away points (etc. INT, Punt Return) the score would have been 14-10 against the #1 team in the country.

#2 Virginia Tech's receivers are God awful, and Im not bragging on Logan Thomas at all, but there comes a time when someone has to step up and make a catch

#3 Trey Edmunds is a legit starting running back, he ran all over a great defense!

#4 Alabama isn't what they have been the past couple of years, given they have a pretty simple schedule minus 2 games I don't seem them winning the SEC or a 3Peat

Yes I know that it's the first game of the year and both teams have a lot of improving to do but this is my take on it

  4. I too think Bluefield could be a very scary team, now do I think they were that much better than Graham? Not at all...GrahM came out and got hit in the mouth from the get go, I love the new coach but they were down 2 tds and instead of trying to put points on the board and punt the ball back to Bluefield...honestly as a Graham fan I expected a loss DJ Edwards is the real deal but I will say this if the G-men dont get some balls about them and bring the contact then theyre in for a long season, congrats to Bluefield tonight regardless yall are a great team but im highly dissappointed in the G-men

  5. I believe that on Tuesday you should go out and vote Bill Cole to the WV State Senate office. http://www.billcole2012.com/Why-I-Am-Running.html

What do you plan to accomplish in Charleston?

Simply stated, jobs and economic development. It is my intent to bring sound, common sense solutions that will overhaul West Virginia’s anti-business environment, thereby clearing the way for real job creation. I will vigorously pursue the implementation of policies that will create an environment conducive to growth in the private sector, thereby bringing more and better jobs to WV. These policies can take the form of incentives, credits for businesses that hire, and administrative and legal reforms.

Currently, the state’s idea of economic development is to offer relief from the same bad tax and business regulations that keep us from being competitive with our border states. Of course, this is OK for the business we are trying to bring in, but hardly fair to the business that is already here. We have to overhaul the regulations that keep us from being competitive - plain and simple.

What about the education crisis in our state?

The statistics are staggering. West Virginia ranks 22nd in per pupil spending, but only 50th out of 51 in final performance rank. Also, according to the Governor’s internal education audit, West Virginia is one of the most regulated school systems in the country. This leads me to believe that the potential for student achievement is diminished by crippling layers of bureaucracy.

It is also my understanding that as much as 80% of the WV prison population is comprised of high school dropouts. This would suggest that if our schools were more crowded, our prisons would be less crowded. We need to give our kids a reason to stay in school- that being the potential for a better life through available employment opportunities as they graduate.

What about crime and substance abuse?

Substance abuse is perhaps one of the most serious issues we face. There is no easy answer, but we certainly need to stop adding to the numbers. I believe a huge part of the answer lies in keeping our kids in school through graduation, thus making them ready for a smooth transition into the workforce. The most important factor is making sure there are job opportunities when they graduate. Of course, this goes full circle back to the need to change the anti-business status quo that has existed in Charleston for decad

  6. I think Graham came un-inspired into last Saturdays game, I see them coming out with a fire under there backside this weekend, Let's not underestimate our G-men!! I believe G-Men!! Let's finish this season out STRONG!!

    GO GRAHAM!!!!

  7. Understandable on the coaches, but with Chizik I think he could be a pretty good offensive coordinator, honestly I would love to see a WVU type offense in Blacksburg as much as I hate saying it. Thats the type of QB's that we get and thats the type of offense that they are successful in. Another coach that could be on the hot seat would be Mark Richt from Georgia, he's a smart grounded guy, I like him. To be honest I'm not really saying that Beamer MUST GO, i'm just saying that he has done all he can do, an offensive cord. would revamp the program, and a big name would help with recruiting

  8. Honestly I believe that Beamer has brought the program to where it is and without him we would just be another smack around team. With that being said I firmly believe that changes need to happen that won't happen under Beamer. Why not go after a Gene Chizik from Auburn or Derek Dooley from Tennesee, both are great coaches in big time confrences that are both on the hot seat http://www.coacheshotseat.com/ . We need a new HC, and a new OC someone who can bring this team to the future over this losing moutain that were on and can recruit big time names

  9. From what i've seen today, I have to say that i'm dissappointed. Things i saw that need to be taken care of to slavage the season.

    1. Run an offense to the strengths of Logan Thomas! The kid has a cannon attached to his arm and yet we let the young running backs get there carries, we call end arounds, we run Logan up the middle and tons of option plays. If we ran an offense similar to WVU's (yes I said it) we would be a very very tough football team. Spread the field and let Logan go to town, from there the defense has no clue as to what is going on eg, options, pass plays etc.

    2. Our defense has to rest, they cant play the entire game and expect to carry us to victory every week. Yes we are talented as we have been in past , and yes defense wins Championships, but you have to score points to win also.

    3. Steinspring is the most overrated, sorry, 1 dimensional coach that I have ever seen. He knows nothing about the game of football and does not put his playes in a position to win.

    4. Frank Beamer's time in Blacksburg is over. Yes you read that right!!! Absoutly he is a fantastic coach, one that will be in the CFB hall of fame, yes he has brought our program to national prominence but, I believe that he has done all he can do with the team, Beamerball is non-exsitent, every year we "choke" the big games, and here lately it's been small games. His bowl record is 8-11, I say we wipe it all clean and start fresh.

Probably going to catch a bunch of hell for this but I will use my right to express my self while i still can lol

  10. Sure wanna see Graham win this one. I'm a Bluefield grad, root for Graham all but one game a year...even wanna see Tazewell get back to better days. But Princeton? Wouldn't mind seeing them go 0-10 every single year.

I'm through and through a G-Man, and I also cheer for those beavers for every single game but that 1 a year, and I my self wouldn't mind seeing Princeton go 0-10, there has always been something about Princeton that i've never liked.

    Let's Go G-Men

  11. I agree that it has worked out pretty well. He is a pretty good QB, he has a cannon for an arm and once the offense gets going I think his true colors will show, it's been noted that he is known for his leadership, add that with his size and arm and you have the makings for a very good player, btw this is 2nd year as a D-1 starter and he beat a pretty good Michigan team last year, yes i said it we all know it was a catch! lol

  12. I believe Logan is a very talented QB, First off the kid was brought in as a TIGHT END! They converted him to QB and in his first season starting he did very very well, he is clutch and it showed in the 4th quarter last night. Second, he has a whole new group of recievers which takes time to develop timing, in time they will be better, especially with the whole offense relying on Logan Thomas to carry them throughout the season. Freshman Demitri Knowles is going to be a good one and is a speedster, also the WR that transferred from Kansas showed up big. Yes the timing isn't there and yes they have alot to improve on, but from what i saw we have a pretty darn good ball club

  13. One of the most recent exciting ones was in 08 or 09? But Graham scored late and Bluefield got the ball back with very little time, they drove the ball down the field to the 1 yd. line, with about 7 sec. left they tried a QB sneak and fumbled the ball ( or got into the endzone if you ask a beaver) lol but the excting thing to me was it was 2 friends against each other on the goal line, Will Cole and Aj Jeffers who came up with the ball. Very Exciting game and Bluefield was heavily favored coming off a State Championship
