Don't know alot about the kids on the varsity team at RHS but I watch the 8th grade team play graham at home and if that group of kids stick together and work hard all winter & spring coach mance is going to have one hell of a team an couple of years and just might give some of his upper class players a run for there starting spots next year. But if coach mance don't need them T-Town is needing some recruits just might have to do some scouting lol!!
I feel if a kid has talent and is a freshman and can out play his upper class men than he should get to play. Its not his fault for out working them or just having god given talent, thats whats wrong with alot of programs around this area they think just cause a player is a freshman or sophmore they should have to wait to start thats bull%**# let the best kids play.
Devon Johnson will sign at the school at 11:00am on 02/01/2012. Josh Hess still haven't annouce which college he's going to yet. So i don't think he will be signing on national signing day.
How many player from this area is going to college to play football. If you are list your name, high school and college that you will be attending. I would just like to know how well this area is doing, cause people say that we are nothing on this end of the state and everything start at roanoke up.
So are you saying that Marshall is out. I thought he was one of their top lineman on the recuriting list for them and now they got a chance to get one of the top lineman in this area and they are just going to let him pass them bye.
Any news on which college it's going to be yet, only a few days left. Somebody has to be done offer him by now he's to good of a player to be passed up for national signing day.
Out of those three schools I would have to go with Marshall being a better fit for him to get alot of playing time his freshman year, if he's willing to put in the hard work now in the weight room the same thing goes for Devon to he's going to have to work hard also to compete with players that are already got a head start on them. Knowing them two they'll put in the hard work to be ready for that next step in their life.
Why are you so sure he's not going to Marshall hokie07. Josh was one of their top recriuts an you don't come across a kid with his smarts and size that often. I just hope he gets to go play somewhere close.
Who has given him a offer from the ACC conference. I just hope he's able to go to a D-1 school that's close to home so we can watch him play. It's going to be something to go up to Marshall and watch Devon play at the next D-1 level. Coach Holiday has really turned that program around, I could see them in the top 25 AP poll in about two to three years from now. It's going to be something to watch on Feb 1 to see where everyone goes. Wishing the best to all players that are going to college to get there education and play at the next level no matter if its D-1,2 or 3 best wishes to you all.

It would be great to see a team from Richlands play a team from Tazewell since there's so much rivalry between the two towns and all you hear from people who has played in the past say i wish i could get out there n do that again. So all you big blue fans lets get register before those dawg fans do and hold this game at richlands if we can get the school to let us do it. I think this would be great for the two towns to have a Old School Rivalry Game and all those Dad's, Husband's, Son's, Coaches and just fans of the sport can put on a great show for the community.
