Well I am a pioneer fan and I know Union has got this one won. The pioneers are young and rebuilding but dont have enough size to hold back Unions running game. I hope everyone has a safe and injury free season!!

The game was good at first but the Gray team didnt have too many players so alot of them had to play both ways. But the kids had a good time and made some friends!! Fun was what its all about!

I didn't get to go, my dad got released early from the bristol hospital and I had to help my parents...I didn't think he would get out until Monday, but they released him early.

 

My dad is one of the few remaining living members of Smiley Ratliff's old Hurley teams...not many of them left now. After he recovers from this one, he has at least one more surgery to go...he's a tough old bird.

If you do take pix if you could get me some pix of ole 23 I would appreciate it my camera has been sent off to be fixed!!! The Blue team does have some skilled players for sure!! I just hope noone gets hurt like last year and ruins anyones college careers! I know a few of them have already signed to play in college!

Is the game still SWVA vs Southern WV players and is Fred Simon from Bluefield still coaching the WV team?

The players are staying at VA Intermont starting today and the game will be Fri at 7 or 730 at VA high.

It is being played at VA High in Bristol this Friday.

The school in Saltville was actually R.B. Worthy High School. That school merged with Rich Valley in the mid 1980's to form Northwood.

I William and Mary has a nice campus, but Tusculum has a pretty campus just placed all by itself.

Philip Henley was announced to be the new coach at Lebanon High

Not a D1 but Bryan Salyer from Lebanon signed with Tusculum.

Ty Hayworth from Dobyns Bennett is a 3 star offensive lineman. He's 6'5 300lbs and signed with Wake Forest. He committed to Wake before his senior season and stuck with it even though alot of other D1 teams became interested this past year.

Yes that is why I think it will be either Taylor or Hensley because of the way it was posted.

Looking at posting on the county website, they are not offering a teaching position with the job.

Yea he came in and presented his playbook but I think it will be between Taylor and Henley. But if they dont give it to Taylor they are going to be hurting. He is great with those kids and deserves it. Lebanons defense has been outstanding for the past years and he can do it.

You are hearing wrong. They already shunned Wyatt once for Henley, if memory serves me correct.

Not yet will know next month. I know that Coach Darrell Taylor and Phillip Henley are in the running. So I am pulling for Coach Taylor. He deserves it.
