  1. Why not just split up into 4 regions top to bottom numbers divisions 1-6. Play the teams in your region. Or play a team close in numbers or someone that would be a good rival game from another division that is close to the school. Top 4-6 teams make playoffs.and so on

  2. Should have let the cannon or fireworks off more i remember a real lourd sound during that game.heck it might have been blasting in the coal mines.hey ditto dose richlands recruit or do they have that much tallentin one little area of tazwell co.good luck to all the teams this weekend except radford and salem just can't pull for those cocky bastards.

  3. When it comes to football salem is the king of recruiting. We have to play them every year and we use to get our asses handed to us before. Now we can beat them everyone is against us. Maybe you could start recruiting people to go to grundy so you can water the field down and still get beat i.e. 1988 region iv playoff.just kidding .that was a good team ,since grundy dropped to single a now we both can dominate wrestling with two teams from swva. How is richlands so good every year do the recruit kids from around the tazwell russell mcdowell buchannan area.if so more power to them its not illegal.or is it.christiansburg has grown so much in the last 20 years alot of the people aren't from around here va tech has made this happen.

  5. I rember back in 1988 cburg played grundy for the region IV title. the field had about an inch of water on it and muddy. but that didn't stop cburg from pulling out the victory. and it didn't rain all week so don't be complaining about an "ugly" field. good luck in the playoffs

    GotWs:

    Gate City

    Galax

    George Wythe

  7. Cave spring beat cburg only because motley got knocked out in the second qt he would have made a diffrence if he had played the whole game. Cave is good but i think richlands will win. Need to stop wright on sweeps the don't have a kicker so be ready to go for two every time. Run run run pass to tight end up the middle.don't count cburg out yet it was a good wake up call .

  11. think region IV shoud go back to 4 team playoff not enough teams with winning records. the only team with a losing record that might suprise people is pulaski good defense and running game can't pass the ball to save their life.threw three passes vs. christiansburg all were ints. two inside the 25 yd linewhich setup two scores. good come back win for salem vs cave spring when do power points come out. I think 1.CBURG 2. MAGNA VISTA 3.SALEM 4.HIDDEN VALLEY 5.BASSETT 6. BLACKSBURG. 7.PULASKI CO. 8.ABINGDON

RADIO SAID THAT PULASKI WOULD BE IN BECAUSE OF WHO THE PLAY WITH NO WINS THATS CRAZY.
