Not even the books in the college game keeps rebounds, in fact they use a computer program to track all kinds of stuff, such as turnovers, offensive and defensive rebounds, blocks, shooting percentage, freethrow percentage, steals, points off turnovers, points in the paint, that knd of stuff...I ran that system for Bluefield state for 2 years, and it is complex, you even have to keep the time so that the play by play is correct as well. Honestly, if the book is trying to keep rebounds then something is messed up. they should NEVER do that. good way to screw up the book, and then the referrees can not change it without "definite knowledge" which is really hard to do especially with the score.
