Of course Stiney was given an ultimatum last year after the BC game....shape up or else. Unfortunately he did for a few games and it saved his hide for another year. I heard today that tech will propose an offer to keep Bud at tech by promising him more money and to be garanteed the next head coaching job. That's interesting, haven't heard that anywhere and I'm torn as to whether or not I'm in favor of it or not. On one hand, I do have some reservations about handing the entire program over to someone who has never had a HC job anywhere. On the other hand, we certainly can't afford to lose Bud, and maybe more importantly, he is almost assured to kick Stiney and the entire "offensive" staff to the curb (which should happen anyway). If he had altercations (and he did) with Bustle over his offense, I can only imagine how he feels deep down about the more recent offenses and the offensive coaching staff.
