I saw the quarter finals, the semi's and the finals and E-mont's point guard is as good as any I saw. Politics are present in region C as well. Blue_Crue 49 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 i'm going to agree with you, however. East Mont's kids were all young, including the Point guard sophmore. Plus they pick the region after the regional championships and East Mont lost in the region finals, put that together the them being in Radford's district and getting spanked twice by them this year that probably had a little to do with it. Sad thing is they don't pick all region after the state tourney they do it after the region tourney when the coaches get to see the players play against people not in their region. Now had they got to see East Mont play in the quarter, semi, and final at the state level they might have had a different opinon. Plus when picking region and all state etc, a lot of coaches just go by grade. Example player a a sophmore is a good player and player b is a senior and is just as good as player a the coaches are more than likely pick player b.
