Burton's Martinez Miles and Gate City's Antah Johnson have been named as the offensive and defensive players of the year on the All-Region D football team. The team, selected by the region's coaches, was released Wednesday. J.I. Burton coach Jim Adams was selected as the region's Division 1 coach of the year, while Lebanon's John Adams was selected as the Division 2 coach of the year. First team offense selections include: Center - John Dotson, jr., Clintwood Linemen - Robbie Rife, sr., Hurley; Evan Campbell, jr., Lebanon; Justin Lopez, jr., Virginia High; Will Thomas, sr., Thomas Walker; Ben Marks, sr., J.J. Kelly Wide Receivers - Dakota Stanley, so., Haysi; Jerome Cobb, sr., Lebanon; Kris Jordan, sr., Twin Springs; Lucas Fannon, sr., Powell Valley Tight End - Nick Robinson, sr., Clintwood Running Backs - Martinez Miles, sr., J.I. Burton; Lucas Kerns, sr. J.J. Kelly; Tyler Graham, so., Lee; Joseph Vaughn, jr., Gate City Quarterback - Chris Fleming, sr., Haysi Kicker - Ian Frey, sr., Virginia First team defense selections include: Ends - Nick Robinson, sr., Clintwood; Garth Nicely, sr., J.J. Kelly Linemen - Antah Johnson, sr., Gate City; Bret McGraw, sr., J.I. Burton; J.D. Bevel, sr., Clintwood Linebackers - Seth Clark, jr., Gate City; Jonathan Smith, sr., Thomas Walker; Evan Stewart, jr., J.I.
