There are two coaches one from Florida and one from Mississippi that have pretty impressive resumes that the committee likes, and Norris is already making calls trying to get a staff together if he gets the job.
I just heard a partial list of names of some of the coaches that have applied for the GC job. Turner from Union has applied, as has Norris from Sullivan North, Mike Castle has applied. My source says that applications are nearing 30 and getting good candidates. Coaches from KY,FL, MS, TN, NC as well as Virginia. The decision want be made until Mid May. Was also told that Jeremy Houseright tried to apply and was turned down because of no head coaching experience which is being required by the search committee.
