I'm not accusing RHS of being in the wrong, but it just looks bad, having someone from the other side being close enough to hear play calls and adjustments.
He cut my hair for years also, but I don't think that is him, I could be wrong, and if I am apologize, (been wrong before) , but if it is him, I can assure you that he was not spying on Union. Look at it this way, he is a great guy, but if you were having someone spy on the opposing team, wouldn't you want someone with a lot more football knowledge than a local barber who takes pictures on the side, come on it just don't make sense. Most press people move around from side to side to get the best view of the filed, and maybe that's what he was doing, but if you think he was spying, to what avail, Union won. I can not account for his actions at that game, but I can say in my opinion you have nothing to worry about, he may be a photographer, but he is no spy.

Not the same guy. Think this guy is from some local paper. I've seen him at a couple of Richlands games on both sidelines, but its not the barber. I've seen the barber at the same games but not on the sidelines. Nothing wrong with taking pictures, but if he was trying to take a pic of the play sheet of Union's coach, he shouldn't be allowed to attend at any future sporting event of any team. JMO Just wanted to add, the barber always wears a visor not a full hat, he likes to show off his full head of hair.
I know for a fact that more than one player at a particular area school only gave a relative's address and commuted from their own home to the school they transferred to...close to an hour drive. This was over a decade ago, but both the school and county involved made sure the eligibility went through, and the kids were immediately eligible. I'm sure the same thing goes on in other area counties as well.
That sounds highly illegal. Unless it was going into their 9th grade year. Then you can do it but have to provide your own
transportation. But I'm not disputing you that it happened.
No so in Virginia. If player moves in with divorced parent, grandparents, or aunts & uncles or has permission from parents to live with someone in another county and establishes residence the semester before the school year begins, then it is okay. Now if the whole family moves, then the player doesn't have to prove residence the semester before the following school year. I for one do not like all these transfers, unless it is a whole family move. I think you play with the players who have come up through the feeder system and have put in the time and effort. To often the transfers, even though they may be more talented, take away playing time for the player who has put in all the time for the home town team.
They have to have legal guardianship. No matter who it is. You just can't say it's ok for so and so to live there.
Actually, that’s all there is to it...sometimes less than that. If a transfer gives the address of a relative inside a school’s boundries, they can be declaired eligible in some instances. They just have to claim that as their residence. I’m not going to go into where I’ve seen that happen, but I know for a fact it has. The sport the kid transferred to play wasn’t football, either.
Well; "all" family members have to make that move. And if you resided in a home at the previous residence;it has
to be put up for sale. And I don't think you can legally use someone else's established residence as your own.

There's only a rope across the track between the edge of the fence and the stands. As many people that are already down there, one more would never be noticed at first. Definitely shady.
This guy should be looked into as a safety precaution. You don't need a troll on the sideline.
I highly doubt it was a Richlands person. I went back over some pics and video I took of the game. Pretty sure this is the guy that Turner and the ref ran off the field. Someone can correct me if it's not the same guy.

I thought you had to have a sideline pass to be there. Looks like he's in confined area where coaches and players are. That

My understanding is God gives you an avenue to make decions. He doesn't make them for you. Just saying.
I thought it was ironic situation anyways when I first seen the guy because really, how many people do you honestly see wear trench coats anymore? Not judging, just saying. He goes and stands right behind Travis while he's looking at his laminated sheet around his neck with the plays and pulls his camera up, Travis notices him, runs him off, and then told the officials. I seen him go around and try to hide behind the richlands sideline. The officials confront the county police about it (I'm assuming) because they walked that way as well. And shortly after, Mr. Goforth walks over and has words with the guy.

Marion pass defense is the weakness but they had a good week against the bearcats. The front 7 is good and can get after the QB and I've told other Canes fans all year a team that can throw the ball consistently all game will be this teams downfall. Virginia High 2 weeks ago had 2 big pass plays other than that they didn't do much.
And Union's weakness is throwing the ball. I think Union controls the LOS though. And gradually wears Marion down.
Not complaining at all, but you implicated that if a school receives transfers they should play a tougher schedule, then you commented on GC and Richlands strength of schedule rating, which lead me to think you were pointing a finger in the direction of Richlands, if I misread I apologize,. Question are you psysic to know what graham will or will not have in 2019.they may have many young kids that will be just as good or yea they may not. But as of right now no one knows what any team will have in 2 years
You can't judge how good or bad a class is going to be in Middle School. Depends on how well they get coached up when they
move up. And how hard they work in the off season.
