I am in no way trying to be controversial but being strong and deep on the bench is always a huge part of football. Richlands has lost some players as well. Logan Altizer had a season ending injury, the Gillispie kid has had a weak ankle not seeing much play. Maybe more but that is all I know about. Both were very good in my opinion. None have been ejected that I know of. This is an area where I think the Richlands coaches prepare extremely well early in the season. A strong bench. I know they have a developing strong backup quarterback in the Cox kid, who I think will eventually be one of the best to play in Richlands. Unfortunately these situations come up during a season and Tazewell coaches have seemed to at this point handle these situations extremely well. I never dreamed they would put up 40 on Honaker with all the injuries they have suffered. No matter what comes of this I think Tazewell will be ready to play a good game Friday.
I'll keep my mouth shut on my predictions this week!! Lol. I took a beating. @stu_bean called me out on my Honaker prediction.....rightfully so!!! Congratulations Bulldogs on a great win tonight. I will be pulling for you this coming Friday as well.
I feel your pain. although i got the tazewell game right i made a mess out of my Richlands Radford prediction, going to be hard to go against the Blues from here on out.
You never know when these two teams get together on the field. Against Radford the Blues had the swagger of the great teams that have came out of Richlands. Simmons and Steel and Webb looked like the three headed monsters of the old days. The defence needs a little more fine tuning, but won the battle against Radford. My Hat is off to Coach Mance and the rest of his coaching staff for a great job. Richlands 38 Tazewell 17. Go Tazewell County!!! Great job Tazewell and Graham last night!
Three questions 1.) How will the NCAA look at this? 2.) Will it disqualify teams from playing in the NCAA if they take advantage of this bill? 3.) Will other states follow suit and turn the NCAA upside down?
1972 state title as the Bobcats wiped out Richlands (62-0) Beamer was an assistant at Radford and I think this is the only time these two schools have faced off until now. Hopefully it won't be as lop-sided this time. Radford 42 Richlands 18

Landon Mance if he can get ahold of that secret notebook that assistants don't even get to see.
