LBs "D1" rated kids arent from LB feeder schools. Zero imagination on offense, lack skill players, no threat to pass/catch ball. LB tries to overpower teams, when they encounter well-coached teams they are toast. They got dominated and pushed all over the field by Christiansburg OL/DL. Games wasnt as close as the score. Not impressed with LB nor with way program is run.
Fort Chiswell coach has been fired. They’ll need their 6th coach since 2013 maybe more, I’ve lost count. Can’t build a program with so much changeover.
Why was the FC coach fired? Rare to fire a coach these days in SWVA............

His dad couldn't be proud of his actions Dave was a classy coach and a good and decent man. It's really hard for me to watch this with his son. It's actually a bit surprising how he has turned out, but I will disagree with the board a little bit. I'm not certain he should be fired yet. I would base it on his actions before this event that the Radford insiders would know. Has he been a good leader? Off field issues in the mix? Etc. If that's the case, then he would be gone, but at the same time, every human on this earth has a bad day. I know I have. Call me soft or liberal or whatever, but I'm all about second chances, but the keyword is SECOND. If this stuff has been going on on the practice field, etc, that's a whole other ballgame if it's a pattern. But if it's not a pattern, well, everybody can have a bad day and like Denzel Washington (who is one wise and smart man) said, "the Devil loves to come for you at your highest moment."
IF it's not a pattern and it's a one time thing for him, what if he gets called in and gets hammered and warned, but not fired, and then makes a change and turns his behavior around? These things DO happen, but they aren't as popular. We don't hear about them as much. We only here of, or mostly hear of the bad outcomes.
Radford's Crist is a carbon copy of his dad from Blacksburg. All 3 sons have not fared well @ football actually, this young one is just like his dad unfortunately. At Virginia High his record was pathetic, 2 VHS coaches he followed won 55% and 50% of their games while Crist won 40% and was 1-5 in playoffs. The elder Crist won 1 playoff game @ Blacksburg HS as HC over his last 20 seasons, 1-9 playoff record from 1994-2014. David Crist was 2-26 versus Salem from 1990-2014, Crist lost 20 of 23 games versus Willis White, you get the picture..........

Yes, he is already getting looks from some big time D1 schools in the SE...If he stays injury free and has a good season next year, we will probably be watching him on the CBS 3:30 game in a few years.
MBA beat Baylor 42-34 earlier this season at home. It will definitely be a great game.
Luke Beemer isnt listed on the 2024 Tennessee top 25 nor does he have a 247 recruiting profile therefore he isnt a prospect. Beemer is a junior this season with ZERO offers so the chance of him landing an offer this late is zilch.
