if anyone is wanting it and cannot get it with cable message me. I can get you a good deal with either Dish Network or Direct TV! You don't want to miss out on the SEC network!!!
Just to put it in my face Commcast started broadcasting the B1G Network tonight.
I don't get it with basic Comcast cable and this fact may ruin my life this fall. Thursday night, So. Carolina/TAMU, not on basic cable. Saturday, Arkansas/Auburn, not on basic cable. i can feel my lumbago acting up.
Well if history is any indicator, the U.S. Federal Government would march their armed forces into whatever states seceded, defeat whatever resistance they were met with, destroy the states infrastructure and ability to sustain itself, and finally occupy those states until all freedom of choice and will to fight is gone. I think that about sums it up.
That's exactly what the British public said in 1775.
From what i've seen today, I have to say that i'm dissappointed. Things i saw that need to be taken care of to slavage the season.
1. Run an offense to the strengths of Logan Thomas! The kid has a cannon attached to his arm and yet we let the young running backs get there carries, we call end arounds, we run Logan up the middle and tons of option plays. If we ran an offense similar to WVU's (yes I said it) we would be a very very tough football team. Spread the field and let Logan go to town, from there the defense has no clue as to what is going on eg, options, pass plays etc.
No! You need a scheme more along the lines of what Urban Meyer used/is using at Florida/Ohio St.
Wouldn't it be great if the players went on strike until the real refs came back...
One things for certain, I won't watch another NFL game until the scabs are gone.
This is hilarious, I liken the NFL with the scabs to playing cards with a five year old kid. You don't know what the rules are from one play to the next.
I'm going to keep watching just for the schadenfreude!!!

have been talking to ceo of a bank(s) in this area, is very concerned about alphas layoffs, lending is going to be very strick.................................
Very strict? The prime lending rate is about 2.50%. The banks are giving loans away.
An Indonesian Muslim scholar, Komaruddin Hidayat, said Muslims have the duty to oppose to anything they deem offensive to their faith, but must "avoid using violence in expressing their objections." At the other end of the Muslim world in Nigeria, a top Islamic leader, Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir, said violence never brings "any benefit to Islam."
"Yes, we understand the First Amendment and all of this stuff," wrote Khalid Amayreh, a prominent Islamist commentator and blogger in Hebron on the West Bank. "But you must also understand that the Prophet (for us) is a million times more sacred than the American Constitution."
He adds: "As Americans have their own idiots and fanatics, we, too, have our idiots and fanatics. And as Americans are utterly unable — probably unwilling as well — to stop their idiots, we, too, are less able to rein in ours."
Lets try to keep an open mind and remember that the most radical are often the most heard
Benghazi Friday Sermon Preacher, in Wake of Killing of US Ambassador, Calls to "Detonate Our Wrath upon Them" and "Stab Them in Their Main Artery"
One more question, how many times in the last ten years have you heard Beamer make positive comments about the play calling of their offense after a game? Miami game from 2011 was one that I remember and maybe the FSU ACC Championship game from 2010, but I also don't remember either of those two teams stacking the box on defense against VT to force pressure.
I would like to ask a question. When was the last time that VPI recruited a quarterback, not an athletic man to play quarterback, a quarterback? A Bryan Randall type who didn't kill the team with "one read and run" pass plays or game breaking mistakes.
does virginia tech score more points than pitt fans in stadium...thoughts?
These two programs deserve each other, defectors playing in a 25% filled professional stadium. I'll make a point to laugh every time ESPN pans the "crowd".
People who have paid into things like social security certainly deserve to receive their return on their investment. But much of these government programs are being abused. Unemployment used to only last for 12 weeks. I personally know people who have been on unemployment for almost 2 years and I also personally know of situations where people have made no effort to apply for certain jobs because they were making more on unemployment.
I wise man once said the following and I think it describes where we are currently with all of the government handouts that are avaliable today.
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the industrious out of it. You don't multiply wealth by dividing it. The government can't give anything to anybody that they don't first take from someone else. When someone receives something without working for it, someone else worked for it without receiving it. The worst thing that can happen in a nation is for half the people to get the idea that they don't have to work because someone else will work for them and for the other half to get the idea it does no good to work because they don't get to keep what they work for."
Adrian Pierce Rogers (September 12, 1931 – November 15, 2005), was an American pastor, conservative, author, and a three-term president of the Southern Baptist Convention (1979-1980 and 1986-1988).
but I firmly believe that there is a large group that is tired of those that have thinking the workers should labor for $2 a day and be glad to have it.
Now, this is a wonderful learning opportunity for you. As a capitalist, I would assert that if people are willing to work for $2.00/day, then the employers "labor price point" is correct. If the local population is NOT willing to work for $2.00/day then the employer will be forced to increase wages to reinflate the business' "labor equilibrium".
A business does not pay its employees "x amount" so the employee can find happiness, or claw his/her way into the middle class, or put the employee's kids through college. The business is paying "x amount" for your labor and abilities.
