Yea im at Penn State Altoona, its basically a freshman-sophmore campus for Penn State, no more than 4000 students. We play division 3 soccer. Our soccer team was one win away from the National Tourney and I had 5 shared shutouts and 1 goal allowed.

What about you? Do you still play or did ya graduate?

Yea but I was sayin in the last few years. Out of the past 4 years Tazewell has been 2nd,3rd,3rd,4th(Tie). Graham is 1st in all but one year.. Carroll is 3rd,2nd,2nd,1st and Richlands is 4th,4th,4th,4th(Tie)

From the past few years the overall ranking is basically.. 1. Graham 2. Carroll Co. 3. Tazewell 4. Richlands

I'd like to see Grundy get into the soccer scene to make our district a little more competitive. Even if Grundy isnt good the first few years it will still give competition and experience to our district.

About Grundy getting a soccer team, the closest I've ever heard to them getting one was in 2002-2003 year. Doubt Grundy will start one for a few years.

Are any of this years seniors going on to play college ball next year?

How did McDaniel and Burton do for Tazewell so far this season? I havent been able to keep up with wrestling this year.. Is there any hope for Regions or State for them or anyone for Tazewell?

No the worst is at Richlands. Theyve made up their own rules more than once, and when confronted with it at the end of the game they say the rule book is wrong. lol go figure

Cant wait, I say it will pick up after awhile. SWVA isnt exposed to soccer as much as other places but it will pick up. When does soccer season start back up, isnt it around the end of Feb for practices? I know there is a BTC Tourney in Tazewell for the beginning of the season in March. Yea and I looked at the Richlands schedule on Blues 82's website and it only showed like 8 games. When I played we had like 16 games I thought. Are they scheduling more or whats the deal?

Even though im from Tazewell, we might be talkin too much for our own good haha.. Yea I know were gonna have some promising backs comin up but we gotta take the season 1 game at a time. We cant start worring about Richlands at the beginning of the season because thats where other teams will catch us off gaurd and beat us.

We never played Lebanon and we play all teams around our area. I checked on their website and they dont have a soccer team.

To fill non-soccer people in. All schools except Grundy has a team. Graham has been the powerhouse of the district, then probably Carroll County, Tazewell next, then Richlands.

I dont know about the other schools, but when i was at Tazewell it wasnt hard to get the younger guys to go to weight lifting. It was hard to get them to lift and not just stand around.
