Helton is a right guard, he hasnt played back since j.v. and even then he wasn's smoking anybody.

richlands has a great baseball program with several 2nd and 3rd year players on varsity, and not to mention alot of the j.v. players coming up from an 18-0 season last year. Look for richlands to be a competitor in the district.

i dont know about a state championship, but they should do ok.

Who are others in the area who have good chances at going to the next level other than Aaron Marcum in any class.

rankings have lafayette 1st, gretna 2nd, and richlands 3rd in AA. Salem is ranked 5th

i as a player know that other teams do the same things at the bottom of piles, you just dont hear the richlands players complaining about it nearly as much/.
