  1. What relationship do you have with the city of St. Louis or the Cardinals organization that influences you in such a way? I ask, because I see a Dallas Cowboys logo in your signature, and Dallas is over 1000 miles from SWVA. I'm assuming the best, and am assuming that you have friends or relatives in those organizations, or that you have a close relationship to those cities, which would be a fair thing to influence cheering interests.

I have no relationship with the city of St. Louis, nor the Cardinals organization. UVAObserver, I have the highest level of respect for you and strongly believe you are the most intelligent person on this forum... BUT....your affiliation views on what team a person cheers for is....well.....shit(no offense, seriously).........We've had a thread about this topic before so i'm not going to go in detail about my opinion....But since we have so many Carolina Panther fans on this forum LOL

I played baseball all my life, and grew up a cardinals fan due to Mark McGuire (yeah steroids I know, blah blah)

My family has a strong football background and I don't know why I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan. I guess growing up during the Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith Era, who knows....All I know is i'm not a bandwagon fan and i'll never question the teams I pull for. You don't have to live near, be affiliated, or know someone affiliated with a team to pull for them.......

  2. When Freddie has his crew on the field,You cannot win at Mitchell Stadium. Can the Beavers not figure out why they have scheduling problems? One must wonder how many of those ten State Championships were aided by Bluefield home cooking.

    LOL....

  3. Though the processor is twice as fast, is that going to make a difference in the long run?

For example, unless you regularly stream games on the phone, it seems to me like the super fast processor is just a waste of resources, and that the iPhone4 would suit your purposes just as well.

Reason I comment, I'll be in the market for one within the month.

The casual user most likely would not notice the difference in the upgraded processor, but I still strongly believe it's worth the extra $100 for the new one.

    Pros:

    Taller screen

Siri (iPhone 4 does not support)

    New dock connector

    Better design

    More durable

LTE 4G (useless around here, for now..)

Most people may not use Siri, but with the upgraded ability you can now ask her any sports question and she will find the answer. I plan on using this quite often.

My phone is with me 24/7 and I feel like it's more of an investment than anything else. $100 extra can be a lot of money to some people, but in the long run you are going to get your money back with the resale value.

  4. I have AT&T, but I do know that they have reduced it to $99.99 for a 2 yr contract but the thing is that im not eligble for a 2 yr contract!!

The extra $100 for the iPhone 5 is well worth it. The benchmarks show the processor is twice as fast as the 4s and the new iPad.

Have you checked recently? Normally when a new iPhone comes out AT&T bumps up your upgrade eligibility by 3 months.

  5. Congrats to the Graham G-men!!

A very boring first half finally showed some excitement in the final 2 quarters.

I think a bright future is ahead with Coach Williams.

Bluefield, made way to many mistakes to expect to win this game. 3 lost fumbles and 2 in the last quarter just doesn't get the job done. Feel bad for Mariotti tho

  6. Oh..... Right. Well, I still think one of those 2 teams will go to the Rose Bowl. Both have a legit shot IMO.

Why the Rose bowl?? The odds of a Big 12 team being selected for the Rose bowl is far fetched.

Not counting TCU's game last season, in the past 50 years only 3 teams from the Big 12 have played in the Rose Bowl. (Which 2 out of the 3 were playing for the National Championship) So make that 1 team in the past 30 years. Texas in 2005
