  1. They have a beautiful stadium for sure!  I like the way that old building is back there.  Would be cool if it’s a tradition for the team to come out the front doors and down the stairs to the stadium.  That would be a cool entrance.  I appreciate the history of their stadium as well.  Two worthy opponents in the finals.

  2. Yea it’s pretty funny if you go to the El Paso alumni page.  They been talking smack about Bluefield, the community, and the state.  I also saw them talking about how they only have 600 people at football games now.  They don’t know or understand the tradition and history here.  They are really dumbfounded by what’s going on.  No way could this little town beat them.  It’s pretty funny IMO

  3. If there are any runners on the board, or anyone that is interested in obstacle course racing, there is a Spartan race in Charlotte in 3 weeks. We have a team of about 60 local SWVA Spartans going down for it. I'm in with the Spartan race team and have been known to score some good discounts. I have a 50% off code right now. It's a lot more fun then just running, and you probably know someone on the team that is doing it....

  4. there was an ad in the paper for a full contact Beaver / Graham alumni game... done by gridiron-wars.com. I've looked around to see if there was a thread on this already but didn't find it.

anyone considering it? I'm in pretty good shape and run half marathons and ~think~ I could do it... my parents and wife said they would like to see me do it and that they would pay my entry fee. does anybody have any info on it?
