They have a beautiful stadium for sure! I like the way that old building is back there. Would be cool if it’s a tradition for the team to come out the front doors and down the stairs to the stadium. That would be a cool entrance. I appreciate the history of their stadium as well. Two worthy opponents in the finals.

Yea it’s pretty funny if you go to the El Paso alumni page. They been talking smack about Bluefield, the community, and the state. I also saw them talking about how they only have 600 people at football games now. They don’t know or understand the tradition and history here. They are really dumbfounded by what’s going on. No way could this little town beat them. It’s pretty funny IMO

there was an ad in the paper for a full contact Beaver / Graham alumni game... done by gridiron-wars.com. I've looked around to see if there was a thread on this already but didn't find it. anyone considering it? I'm in pretty good shape and run half marathons and ~think~ I could do it... my parents and wife said they would like to see me do it and that they would pay my entry fee. does anybody have any info on it?

the lady I got the tickets from said that she put up a sign last year, and got on ESPN... I hadn't heard of that rule on banners. and I don't get the "once you go black" reference... probably an inside joke - huh?

I need a sign that I can hang over the wall... I doubt that one will get me on ESPN ;)
