This year, just competing against those guys in Pulaski and at Regions, they seem REALLY nice!! Along with the other Tazewell cheerleaders! Not many of the other squads are very nice, but those guys really are! I give those guys TONS of credit! The cheerleading program at Virginia High really has TONS of potential if some guys at our school would just grow some balls, and not care what other people think! This year and last, we have had just as many injuries (if not more) than the football team, and I will almost bet anything that we have worked harder trying to change our routine! Cheerleading is alot harder than most people think...esp. the people at Va High! I dont really think it's fair to say that the Tazewell cheerleaders are any more "school spirited" than we are because we arnt going to the game! Yeah..it is a big game for us, and yeah we all feel guilty for not going, but we are just as much of a sport as the football team, and it is our time to shine! Alot of people (including the Tazewell cheerleading coach) have told us that we could be in the Top 5 in the state, and there is no reason in going to the game, and possibly ruining those chances! but anyways...best of luck to both Va High and Tazewell in both football AND cheerleading!
