U cant blame the coaches for a lack of work ethic and talent. Hurley man handled Grundy at every aspect of the game so talk to the players instead of the coach.

Everyone of Grundy's juniors are suppose to be seniors and to be honest if that is there young talent they dont have any.

With the way Grundy was shooting there was no chance for them to come back. As for Coach Mounts i guess he saw an opportunity to get new talent in teh game because his old talent wasnt producing

All i can say is how bout them rebels. It looked like a high school team playin a little league team. Grundy is over rated and will be lucky to win another game. IT looked to me like a lack of talent from the grundy team on tues. night. Grundy will never live this one down and there is nothin they can do about it. And for the rebels they played hard and just kept fighting but after the third quarter it was a blow out so it relly didnt matter after three quarters. That is a good point it is possible, but Va High was district champs so i feel that they should have went considering that. Yes u never can tell. It dont happen often but when it does its a shock. I still feel like it they should add some changes in the system.

I am not saying u all arent good because u all must have been pretty good to beat Tazewell. From information i got the Ky teams u all played was stat games. And from waht i no KY football is pretty weak they are a basketball and baseball state.

I would like to say to Rebelman44 i have respect for any team to make the playoffs with a 14 player roster. Good luck in the future. I am not around the hurley or grundy area but it seems to me that they are rivals. And from what i can gather u all played Unake Tn who was 9-3 and u all just losted 19-0. And Tennessee football is no choke. To to any coach who went to the playoffs with 14 players must be doin something right. I also heard in an article that he was a christian man and that means alot. After all these articles i have read about people throwing off on hurley actually makes me root for them. Me myself i am a Blues fan and congrats to them but all i can say is people need tp quit throwing off on Hurley and look at there own problems. From what I heard from local coaches was that the Grundy, Va High game was not a very well coached game. And from what was said in this article was that the KY teams u all played wasnt any good. But i dont no that from my own knowledge. Grundy was a pretty good football team but dont throw off on a school with weak numbers. It may one day happen every team in southwest Va. I am not from Hurley or really dont care about them i just hate to see people throw off on a team tryin to play with 14 players. The only question i have if u all are so good and u all may be i dont no why not play quality teams during ur alls none district games. Why all the kentucky teams.
