Are you kidding me? The Big East is the worst BCS conference in the nation. They have WVU and Louisville, the rest of the teams are HORRIBLE. Out of all the current Big East teams, ONE has won a National Chapionship in the last 50 years. VT, Miami, Florida St., Ga. Tech, BC, and possibly Maryland could compete in any of the conferences you mentioned.
I think you all are reading HyTek's post wrong. He's saying Sanders Henderson was Dennis Vaught's assistant and is currently the Smyth Co. administrator. By the way I read it, Henderson is the only one potentially going to Abingdon, not Vaught.

Personally, I can only see two teams on the schedule that you WON'T lose to (Abingdon and Grundy) and at least five that you will PROBABLY lose to (Bluefield, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Richlands, Tazewell and possibly CC). You should be able to slide by Marion and MV.
The only way South Florida will ever be a strong program is if they change their name. Seriously, look around the country and see how many directional schools have a prestigious football program. I can only think of one off the top of my head. I know it sounds silly but the best recruits don't go to directional schools.
