  2. salem would probably be number one if they owuld have went back a full decade as salem won state championships in 1998 and 1999 going 28-0 during that period.the legacy continues as maghenbauer, former salem player who had a spinal injury, continues salems success.brad bradley, by the way, coach of william campbell generals also one of the top teams of the decade played for salem from 88-91,salem going 46-6 during that period. his dad coaches at andrew lewis, the middle school in salem.

  6. each team would play 20 downs on offense and then switch a lot of players in and out. scoring for salem neil cain 35 yard field goal antonio medley 1 yard run after donte harvey was called out at one when he out wreslted glass defender for ball. reggie barnette touchdown reception from hunter sturgill on fade route reggie barnette touchdown reception from derek hickman about 30 yards out. glass scored one time on long run against salem second team. overall, the scoring would have been much worse because glass had about 7 or 8 turnovers and most of the time if you had not run your 20th play the ball came back to glass on the 30 yard line.salem moved the ball pretty well using running backs kirl coles, nathan goad, antonio medley and daniel dyer and maybe 1 or 2 more.salems first team defense gave up only 2 or 3 first downs, none in the second session. hickman threw 1 interception for salem 1 turnover which he should not have thrown. he should have tucked and run.i did not see any designed runs by quarterback, which hickman is quick and that may be a new wrinkle but maghenbauer likes to run basic stuff at first and then build from there.we scrimmage again on thursday at james madison against potomac falls .
  7. patrick henry glade spring 20 covington 13 the rebels took over the game after halftime brookville 13 radford 3 radford hung in against a larger and against a deeper opponent tazewell 20 patrick henry 0 tazewell stronger than ph ph was in their second game. pulaski 20 brookville 0 pulaski ran over brookville lagan thomas missed his targets and brookville receivers dropped the ball.brookville is obviously very talented but thats what they rely on,way too much. radford 29 covington 6 radford will be improved pulaski 20 tazwell 2 i thought for 2 thirds of this game tazewell outperformed pulaski with their short passing game but tazewell had 4 or 5 turnovers and then ran out of steam against a much bigger opponent.
