blacksburg also competed in the black and blue division. they won 2 and lost 2. kevin has got that program turned around, they just have a couple weak weight classes. congrats to the former wave matman.
congrats on a big win @ a big tourney! they looked solid all the way through the bracket, but where was the 145 & 152 pounders at? the fact they won w/out 2 weights is even more impressive. looks like they have a real shot at the big one this year.

i think i the blues continue playing as they have the last three weeks they will win. fwiw monty's schedule's win/ loss record is 67wins 68 loss's richlands 84 wins 64 losses. 2 play off teams in montys reg season schedule.5 playoff teams in richlands reg schedule including wva AA state champs and va A hopeful playing next week also(good luck devils).this is all useless info but it is intresting
i'm also looking foward to this years revamped swd. glad to see the wave on the way back to the top. sounds like richlands and tazewell have some good wrestlers this year too. both programs working towards a healthy middleschool and youth program. should be some good matches all over swd. good luck to all teams
they did have some big ole boys but none of them liked taking some of those hits. they were def. punished and by second qtr they were lookin over their shoulders.

i'm cautiously agreeing with you ryan. the 7 teams brookville beat in reg season have a combined win/loss record of somthin like 27- 48 with a couple 0-10's 1-9's I dont think they've played a hard scedule (besides the teams that spanked them)
sounds to me like the winner of this game will be the heavy favorite in game 14. brookville appears to be a very formidable opponent. i personally think richlands is peaking at the right time and pick them win. however if we give brookville the same gifts we gave marion they will capitalize and its game over. maybe we can get ole richlandsalum to give us a little r-3 inside?
