  1. Good news! #1 for Bland played well last night in the rain but with him in at QB, they loose him at WR. When one player is hurt at this level, it is like losing 3-4 players on levels in which participation is much greater. Good Luck to Bland.
  2. Is Bland's QB going to back for the game? If he is, I think this could be a very competitive game. This may be hard for some hogo faithful to believe but I think Bland can play with RR. Either way Bland has had a very successful season and should be loaded next year.
  3. Heard the QB for Bland injured an ankle Friday night, any info. on his status for this game?
  4. He may not be the most physically imposing kid in the world but he is without a doubt one of the smartest and toughest football players around. I have seen the kid play 4 times and 3 of those games he has had an injury but still made plays to put the team in position to win games. I'm sure any coach in the almighty Hogo would love to have this kid on his team. He also seems to be the kind leader you need at the quarterback position. Bland Co. is a solid team that plays with a lot of heart and determination and the attitude of this team is reflected in its QB.
  5. Kids from Rocky Gap High and Bland High School play for Bland County. Football team has combined the kids from both schools for about 15yrs now. Now all the sports programs are combined.
  6. The way things have shaken out to this point, this is an important early season match up in Region C Div.1. This is a crucial game for both teams if they plan on making the playoffs. Any thoughts?
  7. Forget about the players, this was the worst officiated game I have ever seen.....I didn't know if I was watching a girls basketball game or bumfights (with sneakers). Hair pulling, elbows, body slams, and even a punch and no one ejected or even "T'd" up. Terrible for both sides.
