Thats more how I am with the NBA. The stars switch teams more in the NBA than the other sports so I just follow the players, not the teams. More fun to enjoy that way.
But in football I have to pledge allegiance or I feel like a dirty hippie.
I will feel that way in the NBA if/win Chris Paul jets NOLA. I'll still support the Hornets, but Paul is my favorite player.
Viva, I agree that Duke / UNC would compete in the BE , however I don't think they are a lock to finish in the top 2-3 every season in the BE as they do in the ACC.
I believe that the only schools that would "survive" the Big East from the ACC would be Duke and North Carolina. FSU, Clemson and VT were too inconsistent for me.
The media report I read said that the lockdown was after the students had left.
Which would be around gametime. And dude, quit whining about their field. Learn to pass the ball and take advantage of the short field. Don't complain.
I remember watching a Duke/Marquette game back when I was really young and it was like 33-9 at half or something like that. This would have been like 2002 or 2003. I don't even know why I remember it, but I do.

All you need is a chance...which for me I hope is coming up in a few years. But again, well done to Keith and good luck.
