Heard that the entire Varsity Girls team quit on Friday. Has anyone else heard this?

BSC Record 0-3, VT proved their worth... Losing to a team that all year had only beaten 3 teams that ended up with a winning record.. With only 1 of those opponents more than 1 game over .500 (central michigan)...lol...Congrats Tech!!!!! The sad part about last night was after the game the majority of tech players walked off the field and didnt even congratulate Kansas. The Kangaroo might want to clean house......

The 16U Pink Panthers softball organization located in Bristol Tennessee is looking for players to complete their 2008 roster. This team is planning on playing in numerous college showcase tournaments throughout the summer. We are located in NE Tennessee and SW Virginia. This team is coached by the 2 time Gate City High school state softball champion Hugh Godsey. We have a new state of the art indoor facility and are planning on starting indoor workouts in mid December. The Cooper girl from Abingdon, and the 2 pitchers from Va High. The pitcher that was a freshman last year had a really great year. The Abingdon Freshman also had a really good year. I believe they both played on very successful travelball teams over the summer. If Im not mistaken the Freshman from Va High was on a team that won the 14U National Championship. Anyone know anything about that?

So who are the softball pitchers to watch in SW Va. this year? Single A and AA.

Yep they do have some talented kids,,,, but last year Carroll Co, & Tazewell softball programs both laid down at the end of the year. True Tazewell beat Va High, but when the rematch occurred they got beat by a freshman pitcher. The last comment wasnt a slight towards her, she did beat all the Virginia teams with the exception of Tunstill. Same goes for Carroll Co. When they played in the Regions, they laid down as well. Richlands was the only team that had a chance of going up the road. Abingdon on the other hand had their first winning season. They return the majority of starters and the majority of starters were under classman. I only see them getting much better.

Hey this is a great idea. Most people in this area are not familiar with this type of service. This type of service has been around for quite some time. My daughter uses 2 of these type services and to be honest it is a bargin for what he is charging! Good luck and I hope you have great success in marketing the kids from this area!

Abingdon in Softball and Baseball. I seriously doubt that the all region team will be like it was last year in SB. Since the Highlands folded the SW coaches wont have the monopoly on picking their own players this coming year like they did last year.
