Just heard it today! Its great to see another G-man move on to bigger and better things! I wish him the best in his athletic career and life.

I am proud of the way the G-Men played tonight, they can hold their heads high.

haha nobody can change his mind lol and Graham had an amazing season and even though were sad its over we love the show we put on in front of our home fans tonight especially the seniors they played great!

Graham came out and played great from the start! Jordan bryan took absolute control in the first half and a lil sloppy last three mins of the 3rd quarter was the determining factor. it was anyones game until the last two mins when we had to start fouling! The game was def closer than the final score.

Thoughts?

im disgusted with the way richlands was, esp. #11 classless joke..and yes the fighting went on for about 15 mins and after they were thrown out they continued outside

Since the stats only show 10 games each for Bryan and Brewster, I would say up-to-date stats for the G-Men weren't submitted to the Bristol Herald Courier-- could account for the reason Marrs isn't listed.

We are in the process of putting together a 17U team for this AAU season. We are looking for rising JRs and Seniors interested in developing their game. We currently have commitments from Galax, Carroll and Mount Airy,NC. We need to fill some post positions, but will consider any that are interested.

 

If you want to play and can commit to at least 2 tournaments a month from Early March - May (and possibly later) as well as at least one practice a week in Hillsville VA, reply to this thread with your stats (Position, height, PPG, RPG etc.) and email address and we will contact you.

haha cant wait to see yall again this year in aau i know graham is putting together a team again and will be starting right after the season ends.

i believe abingdon plays tazewell at abingdon and richlands plays cc at richlands. graham plays the winner of marion and grundy,but dont count marion out yet i still think they have some fight left in them!

If that's the case then sorry, my bad. I was told by what I thought was a pretty reliable source otherwise. BigD is right. We will be lucky to even be able to play tournament games this week let alone makeup games. So sick of snow.

Better check your sources on your voting tallies there. I believe their were two votes against ending the season with Richlands being one of them. This could be a never ending debate. No one expected Grundy to beat Graham but no one expected Tazewell to beat Richlands either. Getting home court advantage and a first game by for the first place seed def has its perks. I can see why Graham wouldn't want to play and yet I can see why Richlands would want to play. In one game Richlands can go from third seed to tied for first thats a big jump. I say get the two coaches together and let them deicide or better yet let the boys vote on it.

i have my sources straight lol marion and abingdon voted for the extension and everybody else voted against it lol

The thing about a vote is nobody wants to push the tournament back so of course they're going to vote to end the season on time. Doesn't change the fact that Graham will be SWD Champions despite having two unplayed district games, which if they were played, could result in a different outcome. I'm not trying to take anything away from Graham. I just hate to see things decided by a vote. But oh well, everyone is back to 0-0 now.

Richlands voted to end the season also. just saying

I don't think anyone expected Graham to lose a district game this week. Now that they have they should play the makeup game against Richlands.

grahams coach was told that the season ended saturday and there was a vote already taken to secure graham only needed on win this week to become district champs. there should be no reason why graham should play cc or richlands reguardless if there was already a vote.

Is not gonna be made up. Graham plays tazewell tomorrow and grundy Saturday. And that ends the season!

Grundy and Graham was suppose to have games tonight (jv girls and varsity girls at Graham and jv boys and varsity boys at Grundy)

 

Are they still having it?

Our coach said that there still trying to play this game as of right now i will update you again for sure as soon as i know.
