it depends on how you look at it actually

if you look at it from other bands in the swd's perspective then we are the best one by far!!!!

but if you look at it from other 5a and some 4a bands in the state perspective, we arent the best but we do compete

yea, i would play but 1 im in the band, 2 thats my passion, and 3 i suck at football

the band wins more than the football team

we have about 4 or 5 women and thats our whole band booster club

the football team gets all the ticket money, concession money, and the boosters money

the band has 1 stand at the football games and thats all we get

the rest are from fundraising that the whole band does

GHS doesnt cut us any slack

the whole skool doesnt even care about us but if they just listened one time they would hear how good we are but all they do is watch our football team suck it up

i havent really seen them play this year until tonight and they looked really good

i like how they play there defense and force turnovers

i also think they can do well b/c of there size, they have 6 guys 6'6 or taller and there athleticisim all there players have

terrence williams can play 2, 3, or 4, and possibly even the 5

It's been a delightfully fun championship week, and I can't wait for the Dance to start!

Speaking of that, I really think Louisville should be the Overall #1 after this.

i agree with you there, they are definitly the best team in the country right now and they have a bunch of motivation goin to into the dance, they might be my team to win it all

we need to get some more ppl to join the band boosters too lol

I'm just trying to be optimistic, all the components are there...they just need to put it all together.

Maryland wanted it more than Wake did tonight. Maryland is woefully undersized, but they absolutely killed Wake on the glass. That's not fundamentals or bad coaching, Wake has both of those. That's flat out desire and guts by the Twerps. As much as I can't stand Gary Williams, the Maryland fanbase, or that entire state (I partially kid), that basketball team is a hard-working team that has certainly earned my respect with its tough style of play.

 

And I believe BC exposed Duke tonight just a bit. I've not been incredibly impressed with BC, but they really took it to the Blue Devils tonight. If the shots don't fall for Duke on a given night, they're toast. I think they'll defeat Maryland, given Maryland's size disadvantage. But I really think that either FSU or UNC will beat them in the finals. Both teams have superior athleticism and size.

i was a little upset with my dukies tonight for keepin it so close

i think unc/fsu will be a great game, fsu is a very tough team IMO

i think duke will pull it off if zoubek can do some work with his size b/c he had the best game of the year against them at cameron

duke will definitly need to stop vasquez, he is an incredible player(major ups tonight)and can do some damage to duke if there not careful

they have some pretty good players but no line, no rb, and i saw no heart last year except from a few players

You will call yourself an "iddiot"? At least you will have supporting evidence.

 

Graham has a lot of potential. But, like everybody else is saying on here, they lack some key components that made Graham teams good in the past. Some of Graham's most succesful teams didn't have a great deal of talent, but a ton of heart and determination.

I have to disagree when you say they have no leadership for the upcoming season. those guys have been playing with one another since middle school and have a lot of chemistry and everyone is on the same page so i don't think leadership will be the issue. yes every team has stuburn ones but have you heard that one monkey doesn't stop the show.

i have to agree with you. there is one stubborn guy on this coming years team but it might be different b/c he will be a senior nxt year and hopefully he will be a good leader.

this coming year they will have some good leaders such as david marrs, darius carper, and austin bokish

haha well it sure seemed like that stopped the show after getting their butts handed to them at Carrol then somehow making the playoffs and going up to Tazewell and taking another butt kicking.

what is every1s thoughts on the wake/maryland and duke/bc game?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tech win tomorrow, especially if Lawson doesn't play; I don't expect him to. And it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Carolina NOT win the ACC tournament as long as dook doesn't. The last three times Carolina has won the national title they didn't win the ACC tournament.

yea i wouldnt be surprised to see tech win either, if delany and vassalo can hit there 3s and allen has a decent game down low it could be interesting

the only thing that sux is that the game is during skool and i can only skip classes and watch it on the internet
