I have always heard that the Athletic Colors were actually the Marine Corps colors. Maybe so, maybe not. I have also heard that Graham is the only school in the commonwealth with two sets of colors. If going retro (maroon & gray) why not use the helmet color scheme from the late 60's early 70's. Maroon helmet, two gray 3/4" stripes separated by a 3/4" maroon stripe. Two Green Bay style G's on the sides and gray face masks. I know some of these teams were not very good, but it was a good looking helmet.

Coach Woodward also has GHS connections. He attended GHS, palyed football and wrestled there. He has been coaching at Graham since 1988. He has coached football, is the Head Wrestling Coach, and coached baseball also.
