goalie 10 Report Share Posted September 27, 2005 has any one eles saw all the big name players that are out for the season in the NFL? Pennington, Spikes, Harrison, Driver, ext.
UVA_CAVALIERS 10 Report Share Posted September 27, 2005 It doesnt shock me about Pennington, he has yet to complete a full season in the NFL. I think the Jets need to invest some time in a new Qb, whatever happened to Quincy Carter up there? Harrison for the Patriots is a big loss, but hey its the Patriots, their hole starting defensive backfield was gone this week and they went TO Pitt, and came out with a win. Spikes is a big loss for the young Bills team, and Driver..that was just an early indication for the Packers on what awaits them this season, failure. UVA_CAVALIERS 10 Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 Brooks Bollinger will still start, signing Vinny was a mistake, hes 42 yrs old. I guess the only reason they signed him was because he is familiar with the offense. But theres other younger, solid Qbs out there..Kordell Stewart, Quincy Carter, etc.

UVA_CAVALIERS 10 Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 If its true that history repeats itself(and it appears to be true with Pennington) he will be out until next year.

zach 10 Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 They will go for a QB in next years draft, maybe Young or Leak in mid first? But They need to get someone, because Penningtons arm isnt good enough to take them deep intothe playoofs/ SB contender. Im glad Takeo Spikes is out thuogh, we play them this week.
