Gman1986 10 Report Share Posted March 30, 2006 Graham wins season opener Staff reports Bluefield Daily Telegraph GRUNDY, Va.  The Graham G-Men banged out 14 hits and Wills Murray struck out 12 Grundy batters in Graham’s first completed game of the season Monday, a 10-1 win over the Golden Wave. Brandon Puckett’s two hits were both doubles; he scored three times for Graham. Cliff Scott also doubled in a 3-for-4 day. Going 2-for-4 were Rick Barreras, T.J. Marrs and Nathan Branch. Taylor McCoy, Matt Yost and Murray had one hit each. Murray pitched the entire game, allowing no walks but hitting two batters. Grundy’s Jerami Bartley doubled and came around to score the Wave’s only run. Graham is 1-0 pending completion of a suspended game with Twin Valley. Graham’s varsity plays at Carroll County Tuesday, while the JV team is at home to face CCHS.
