MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 The Mavericks larger offensive line completely dominated this game as James Monroe did not punt, and suffered only one turnover. Shady Spring had modest success throwing but couldn't run the ball consistantly, and were on the field on defense alot after the first quarter. James Monroe took only 2 plays to score,however still didn't really take control until the 2nd quarter. The Mavericks have to do a better job taking control in the beginning, and not letting up. Expect a pretty good challenge from Oak Hill next week in Lindside following their 55-8 victory at Mount Hope. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
