If you didn't watch the game, don't even let the 20 points fool you, the Raven's offense scored one against the Colt 1st team D, and that was when it was 44-7, the earlier score was a KO return affter it went to 30-0 ealry in the 2nd quarter.

Raven's defense didn't fair too well , Manning and the Colt's offensive starters sat out mid-way through the third, and could've probably scored 65 points if they wanted, J. Addia and T. Gonzalez were on fire.

Bottom line, if Indy keeps playing like this, the Patriots may start having nightmares about the AFC Championship.

For all the parity that there's been in college football and basketball (so far) this year, there's definitely a lack of it in the NFL. There are four great teams: New England, Indianapolis, Dallas, and Green Bay. There are nine decent teams: New York, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Jacksonville, and San Diego. There is also one historically putrid team: Miami. The point is, there's the cream of the crop, good teams, mediocre teams, and the pathetic team. Not a lot of parity, that is.

I disagree a bit. I have said for years that there is no difference in talent level between any team in the NFL. Most of the time, they play when they want to if they have any emotion and if a coach can do anything with them chemistry wise. However injuries will play a part in it too and a few teams right now are really hurting, because of a bunch of guys being out. A good example to me happened one year ago today. Miami beat New England 21-0. Since that game, New England has won 16 regular season game in a row and Miami has lost 16 in a row.

Also, how does Brian Billick get put on the hot seat this year in Balitomre after the last eight years with five playoff appearences and one Super Bowl win?

One answer, 44-20 loss to the... ummm... Colts!

Having visited Baltimore recently, I can testify that had the Ravens won the last 3 superbowls, and that was their first loss, he'd still be one the hot seat.

In all seriousness, the Raven's have underacheived for several years, kind of like the Bears teams of the 1980's. Baltimore should've been back to the Super bowl 2 or 3 times, last year included with that defense of there's. A big reason why is the Billick has no idea how to evaluate personell on offense, it started with cutting Trent Dilfer for Elvis Grbac, and since then they have 1 postseason win to show for it.

At some point the defense will start aging and breakdown too, after last night, that day seems sooner than later.

If you want to separate New England from the rest, that would be quite fine. I guess then, New England would be the "superior" team, or whatever.

However, I don't think you can lump together the 28 teams below the Patriots, Cowboys, Colts, and Packers. Especially the Dolphins, which deserve a class of their own. Too much of a discrepancy between the talent levels. Need 4-5 groups, in my opinion.

Agree to disagree on that, perhaps.
