VHSLhelper 571 Author Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 just looked up some stuff for the LPD guys... Castlewood had a couple of 2nd's : 1987 - 30 points (10 behind Middlesex) 1988 - 36 pts. (2 behind William Monroe) Calvin Talford won the long, high & triple jumps both years. His 1988 wins at VMI are still Group A records (7-0, 23-4.25 & 49-8.25). In '99, PV finished tied for 2nd with 40 points. Josh Warren won the shot put; Julius Jones won the triple jump & the 110m hurdles (his 14.02 is also still the all-time best in A - and better than the AA record).
