And i know i'm a great goalie. So obviously they arent that bad  If you're so great then why did you let in 8 goals? You also let in 5 against Graham. Great keepers don't let in 8 goals. POSKN8R 12 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 If you're so great then why did you let in 8 goals? You also let in 5 against Graham. Great keepers don't let in 8 goals. Â just had a horrible game against graham. I let off field things effect me on the field and obviously that is never good. And 8 against abingdon was simply that everyone on the team was tired. We had to play marion and cc back to back, one day break then at abingdon. I got hurt against cc and had one day of icing. I wasn't 100% and neither was the team. When they have that many one on ones its hard not to let in goals, we were beat before we even got off the bus. Possesion was 85%-15% easy. If you never played varsity then you don't know how much harder it is. This was his first year in this district, varsity, and now he's odp. We all fooled around during rec and thats probably where you got that assumption, but if you played him one on one then he'd put 10 up before you put up 2.... Also Fred Harman told me I wasnt allowed to slide when we played cause he didn't want anyone getting hurt so i'd love to see a shootout now haha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Why don't we just come out with the truth. High school soccer around here is VERY weak. Does anybody from around here even come within 5 goals of winning a game in the state tournament? No they don't, and i think you have the wrong idea about more than just that. If you're a great soccer player you really stand out epsecially around here no matter if you are a freshman or senior.
