colts18 10 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 okay.. wasnt that bad of a game??.. twin valley was up by 30 until goodman put his bench in.. and they still ended up winning by 20+ points... i might be wrong on this one but I think the final was a 19 point game and yes TV did go up on hurley about 20+ points at one time but you have failed to mention that it was hurley who had there young new faces on the floor during a 13 to 0 run for TV and it wasnt that bad of a game for a new team with a new way of coaching but make no mistake this isnt the same hurley team of the last 2 years by seasons end I think you will see just that , better D and better team work. and for the most part about all these games for teams that havent had a scrimage were used for just that at coach horn new that in order for this team to improve before the end of season he must first know what line up works at the right times and that is what he did mixed it up to see were some of the new faces stood with the rest, but dont get me wrong TV is a better team right now than hurley not a 30,or 20 point better than hurley but maybe a 15 point. its all about team work and cutting down on there turnovers and if they can do that by the bdd turny then I think they can open some eyes for those who doubt, it will be a 2 year project but if all the girls that are playing now hang with it look out in a couple of years and thats what coach horn is banking on . hokiepanther 10 Author Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 councils girls squeaked by tv's girls in a 57-56 victory saturday night with a last minute bucket from haley arrington.. but ok ill give ya that hurley is alot better team than they have been in years past.. and that there were alot of subs on the floor.. but goodman had most all his subs in too...
