the watcher 10 Report Share Posted June 5, 2010 ADFORD -- All eight runs Salem (12-13) gave up came in the first two innings and were unearned in the Spartans' loss to Abingdon in the Region IV finals in Radford. Emily Taylor pitched seven innings for the Spartans, striking out five batters. Katy Stauffer hit a 2-run homer for Salem, while Amanda Dalton and Ellen Weaver each had two hits.
