evophoto 10 Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 Carroll County opened the year on a positive note with a 73-71 win over Fort Chiswell. Carroll and the Pioneers went back and forth most of the game with the exception of the late third/early forth quarter when Carroll stretched the lead out to 14. Fort Chiswell got back in to it with some hot outside shooting combined with heavy full court pressure and Carroll's foul troubles. But in the end the size advantage of the Cavs and the work at the free throw line by Carroll point guard Ryan Gravely proved to be the difference. evophoto 10 Author Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Not too shabby. We got a nice 14 point lead early in the 4th. But blew it due to foul trouble and hot outside shooting by FC. We should get better and play together more as the season progresses. We'll know more tomorrow when we Patrick Co. comes to town...
