beano5 14 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 I hope everyone has a very good, and safe, celebration tonight! Be aware if you are out on the road tonight though, accidents with a drunk driver are raised by 150% on New Years' Eve. Happy New Years everyone. Hacker 82 Report Share Posted January 1, 2011 I long ago quit going out on "Amatuer Night." One of the strangest things I saw growing up was on New Years Eve. We came upon a car stopped in the middle of the street in it were a prominent local Architect and his wife passed out drunk. I promised myself that would never happen to me, so I just stay home. Good plan, and it's a strong reminder that DUI isn't just the province of the poor and uneducated. Happy New Year, one and all. Be blessed, and be safe!
