Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 At least in the U.S. This is BIG, BIG news for the gaming industry. http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/15/news/economy/online_poker_indictments/index.htm?hpt=T2 I'm thankful I had cashed out everything I had in it a while ago. I don't know what I'd do if I had thousands of dollars (or much more) in it like many do. Frankly, as a final thought for now, I'm surprised it's taken the DOJ this long. beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 I occasionally play on pokerstars and full tilt. Oh well, it will most likely save me money in the long run haha

Lance 228 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 DOJ likes to wait until there is enough money worth stealing before they swoop in and take it...if there was no money in it, they wouldn't care...that's how it works now a days.

Yep, I think the timing is grand. We're looking at trillions of dollars in deficits, why not make $3B on asset forfeiture.
