This is one of the wost incidents I've seen in a few years. No excuse. Walker and Cullman get it on. Makes you appreciate the calm atmosphere in this neck of the woods.

Don' t know if these links work- couldn't find anything directly clickable.

Things get heated but that is just crazy. The coach who crossed the field and (imo) really started the altercation should be done coaching. Pulling his teaching credentials may be a little far to go but he should probably lose his job.  The coach that responded should be punished in some way but from what ive seen(just the video) he was definitely provoked and tried to ignore it until the other guy just wouldn't stop.

banning the programs from the playoffs or ending their seasons is WAY too far imo.

Like you said swvacsas2, lets be glad we keep it calm around here.

@ redtiger

But as always the one who retaliates that will get punished even more.  There must be more to this than what we know. But regardless he could have walked away and if they had beef with one another settle it on their own time and not the schools.  Both coaches were not being very good examples for the young men they lead.

You're right, neither were good examples to the young men they work with and that should weigh very heavy in determining their punishments.

I would imagine there are some personnel issues between the 2 coaches
