I refuse to use the term "Region", since the new alignment system really messes up what that word means.

My understanding is that 2A West, which is Conferences 37-40, split into a diff. alignment for wrestling, basically 4 made-up Districts of 4-5 schools each.

Feb. 14-15 should be the half-state, with all schools (about 20) from Conf. 37-40.

Feb. 8 should be the 'Western Sectional', with West-Western-"North" Grundy, Richlands, Tazewell & Central and W-W-"South" Lebanon, Union, John Battle, Va. High & Lee.

The West-Eastern Sectional would be Lynchburg area schools down to Marion.
